Hi! I’m Patricia McDonald.
Ph.D., and I am a professional lifestyle model and non-union actor based in both Boston and New York City. I began my creative journey at the age of 51, inspired by a comment from my talented photographer daughter: “Mom, you’re wicked photogenic.” With the support of my family, I took a leap into modeling and acting in July 2024—and it’s been a crazy journey since.
As an emerging actor and model, I bring a fresh perspective, a strong work ethic, and a natural ability to take direction. Whether in front of the camera or on set, I’m committed to bringing professionalism, creativity, and a unique energy to every project. I’m especially drawn to opportunities that allow me to grow, collaborate, and contribute to compelling, high-quality work.
When I’m not on set, I’m likely singing, spending time with my two beloved shih-tzus, Kirby and Seamus, hanging with my beautiful daughters, or cheering on my alma mater, the University of Notre Dame. Outside of modeling and acting, I’m a principal business and technology consultant for SEI-Boston, an adjunct faculty member at George Mason University, and the media manager for my father, social media personality @following.dr.g.
